The Bees United Board has, as part of its policy of improving communications with supporters, decided to publish the agendas and a short summary of each of its monthly meetings. These will normally be posted on the website after the summary has been approved at the subsequent board meeting.

The agendas and summaries of the meetings held on 30 September and 21 October 2004 are now available in the About BU section of the website.

One of the key items discussed at these and the subsequent December meeting was the Bees United guidelines for consultation between the supporter directors at Brentford FC, nominated under the terms of our loan agreement with the Club, and the Bees United board.

While many of the principles contained in this document have been in effect for some time now, the Bees United board and its supporter directors feel that it is in the best interests of Bees United and its members and Brentford FC that this information be formalised and made public.

As such this document should not be seen as a new initiative, but instead a crystallisation and tightening-up of existing working relationships, clearing up some of the grey areas that have become apparent over time. This is now available in the About BU section of the website.

Bees United has come a long way since its inception, and will develop a lot further still. As such, please bear in mind that this is a living document which will develop over time as we all gain in experience of how best to run our Trust and our Club.

We hope that this blueprint will be of use and interest to Bees United members and Brentford FC fans, and welcome any feedback on it.
