BU Board extends deadline for new members to qualify to vote
Following comments from and discussion with some of the BU members and election candidates the Bees United Board has carefully considered the cut-off date for new members to qualify to vote in the forthcoming election for 3 places on the Bees United Board.
The Board has decided to extend the qualifying date for new members to 25 August, in line with the qualifying date for those members who are renewing existing memberships.
We apologise for any confusion caused by the delay in coming to this conclusion.
This decision has been taken in the spirit of encouraging as many people as possible to join the supporters' trust and to participate in an open and democratic election process.
