Supporters Direct is holding is holding an event for people who are considering joining their club’s supporters’ trust board, have recently joined the board, or who would appreciate a refresher on their roles and responsibilities. It is on Sunday 10th February at SD Offices in central London.
The day focuses on a range of topics including Strategic Planning, Engaging with Stakeholders, Shareholding, IPS regulation and information on Supporters Direct including the updated version of the SD Model Rules for supporters trusts and sports club community mutual.
It is a full day including lunch and refreshments and is a great way to meet colleagues from around the Trust movement.

Also, the next SD Secretary’s Development training session is taking place on Sunday 20th January in Peterborough.
The aim of this training day is to ensure people are aware of the responsibilities of the Society Secretary including tips on managing the Board and organising meetings, the elections and AGM. Practical advice for trust Secretaries and an overview for those considering volunteering to be appointed as trust Secretary or wishing to have a better insight into the role.
Lunch and refreshments are included and is a great way to meet colleagues from around the Trust movement.
