Bees United is pleased to announce that following an election amongst our members GRAHAM HALL has been elected to represent the Trust on the board of Brentford Football Club.
Graham will join existing supporter-directors John McGlashan, Stephen Callen and Andrew Wainwright.Graham, a retired accountant from Kew, has been a Brentford supporter since 1948 and a Season Ticket holder, and small shareholder, for almost 30 years.
Speaking on hearing the result said: "It has come as a great thrill and surprise to have topped the poll from among the Trust members, now the hard work really starts, and I look forward to meeting my colleagues and be brought up to speed on all issues."I would like to pay tribute to my fellow supporters who participated in the ballot. I have noted the many points made in the various election addresses and comments at the recent hustings, I will do my best to see that these concerns are dealt with. We all have the same aims and ambitions and I am sure that if we all continue to work as part of a team we will win through."
Bees United Chair, Brian Burgess said: "This has been a great advertisement for supporter democracy. Bees United are honoured to have had so many enthusiastic candidates putting themselves forward for election and it really does show the deep concern that we all share for the future of Brentford FC."Bees United will now have four directors directly nominated to the Club's board, and I am sure that Graham will prove to be an excellent ambassador for the supporters of this great Football Club".
