The Trust seeks to fill the post of Finance Director, which at present is being undertaken by Deputy Chairman Trevor Inns on an interim basis.
About the vacancy, Trevor said, "At the latest Bees United Board Meeting I was elected to the position of Financial Director. Prior to the voting I made it clear to the rest of the Board that I would only remain in the position for a few weeks and would be searching for someone to co-opt on to the board to succeed me in the shortest possible time."
Bees United is now seeking to identify someone to join the Board in the position of Financial Director. Its duties include:
- Basic Bookkeeping
- Preparing a monthly report for the BU Board
- Fulfilling our obligations towards our lenders re accounts etc
- Controlling payments and other outgoings
- Preparing Annual Accounts for Audit
- Dealing with matters such as Corporation Tax etc.
- Assisting the BU Board in reviewing the football club's budget.
- Proactively helping to resolve queries from the membership and Membership Secretary
- Proactively assisting the various fundraising efforts
- Participating in the effective management of Bees United.
Trevor added: "We are not necessarily looking for an accountant but someone that is familiar with accounting and preparing annual accounts for audit is a must."
