On behalf of the Bees United Board I deplore the arrangements made by the Football Club for the unrestricted sale of tickets for Saturday's cup match at Southampton.

The Club has let down many of its loyal supporters including; season ticket holders, Bees United and Lifeline members and regular away travellers. These are the very people on whom the Club depends for its current and future survival and success. It is disheartening for those volunteers who work so hard to raise funds when the Club damages the goodwill of its supporter customers.

Although the Club's customer charter is not ideal, and is currently under review, it should be applied consistently so that supporters at least know where they stand.

As the Club becomes more successful on the pitch the standards of customer service and backroom management must be raised and the Bees United Board will continue to drive for improvements.

The Bees United Board is seeking an explanation of why this situation arose.

Chair, Bees United
