Bees United has repaid the personal loan of £50,000 from supporter John Bowyer that was instrumental in the Supporters’ Trust taking majority control of Brentford Football Club.
The loan was due to be repaid on 31 January 2011, almost five years to the day since Bees United bought 60% of Brentford Football Club on 20 January 2006.
At the recent AGM, Chairman David Merritt thanked John Bowyer for his generosity and tremendous support.
